ABOUT FOUNDERS

John and Pamela Dillon are the founders of Agape Time Ministries, Inc. Both are ordainded and called for" such a time as this." Together the two of them are like a ball of fire coming right at you in an awesome and divine way. They endeavor to fuel the flame of God that burns within believers, and ignite those that have a desire to catch on fire. There hearts cry is to see the body of Christ developing and walking with intergity in their Kingdom assignments.

This dynamic team compliment each other well in ministry and as a couple.Their different giftings and characteristics cause them to blend together as a total package. The delivery of their ministry whether working simultaneously or apart stirs up the gift of God in all those in whom they encounter.

Within the last couple of years God has called them make ready a place of refuge, worship, and training for those called into the priestly task of kingdom building. This facility is currently in the making.

John and Pamela combined have four children: Michael and Alvin Frazier, Brittany and Stephanie Dillon. Along with five granddaughters: Taylor, Mikeli, Amani Kay, Kiona,Telah, One grandson Tahj Dewayne Lee .

  As a child of God, as a leader, as an epistel read of men, what is your main motivation for studing the scriptures?  Is is to sound really intellectual, deep. or to impress your hearers with your oratorical pleasentries? To show how many books you have read or amassed, and were able to retainded this information, and can quote it verbadem without interruption or stammering. Could it be to get preaching or teaching invitations to add to your impressive resume, or list of religious accomplishments? Is it so you can write the next best sellling book with the revelations that God has shared with you?  Is it so you can always hold a place of superiority over others because of your great knowledge and wisdom, knowing that no one else hears from God, or understands revelation on your level? Or could it be just so you can raise a nice offering?
		I was reading one of my Jewish commentaries on the book of Psalms, the writer stated that perfect wisdom comes from God. God imparted this wisdom and understanding to Moses on Mt Sinai so he could teach it to the Children of Israel and to all future generations. The purpose was to give them insight into how to get back to the state that Adam enjoyed in the garden. Becoming the true image of God. Moses taught them that being in the image of God is having a real revelation of closeness in the form of relationship to God and knowing his will and being obedient to God's commandments and statutes. Also have unrestricted, access to the mind of God, and communication with God on the highest level man can attain or in other words naked before Him.
		The commentator stated that even in his day that many people study the scriptures just to sound intelligent, for monetary gain, to hold a place of authority over others in interpreting the law to their advantage, or to have a high seat or position in the jewish community.
				I had to stop and answer the Holy Ghost's question " Are you gullty of any of these things"? Of course my first reaction was to say of course not I love the Lord and all his people and would never try to take advantage of them or use them. The next question was if I told you not to share anything I revealed to you could you do this for the rest of your life and be content? oops Oh my. I thought why would he not want me to fulfill the great commission of taking the gospel to the world through sharing what God shared with me. I had to really soul search and take a second look at my motives for studing the word of God. I replied if that was your will for my life i would have to abide by your commands. He then said to me i share many revelations with my people just for them personnaly to know me and draw closer to me just for our relationship. But very few can hold it until I release them to share it with others or if I tell them not to share it at all.
				Guilty as charged! I had to repent knowing that sometimes I thought I was really helping others by sharing this wisdom and understanding but in reality I was using it for my own gain in the eyes of men.
				The Mishkan (tabernacle in the wilderness) all the temples, the law, commandents and statues, Christ coming and dying on the cross were all designed to bring us closer to God. WHY DO YOU STUDY THE WORD OF GOD?

 Excerpts From Book " Give Him The Ashes"    Chapter 1 "Dead & Buried"               
				
				Often times we are unable to leave the past issues of our lives in the past. Some might say it is good to remember some experiences, primarily because memories make up the color and pattern of our lives. But what is the effect of holding on to these memories? What do they do for our today? The sad fact of the matter is that more often than not we tend to bring dead experiences to life on every occasion and refuse to go on with life free from the past. I have concluded from experience and from lisening to others that bad things that happened to us in past tend to gain strength, depth, and grandeur in our minds with time. The more time has passed since the incident occurred, the madder we seem to become and the more we seem to talk about it in the present. Constantly rehearsing the matter seems to bring us a much desired though unhealthy , pleasure. 
				
				I often wondered about the reason we do this? Why do we hang onto experiences that causes us pain, talk about it every chance we get and solicit others to help entertain our pity parties? I have witnessed people get totally intoxicated and then reminisce about things that should have been long forgotten. Even I, before I gave my life to Christ, was guilty of doing the same. When we reminisce, our conversations oftentimes are about who left us, who cheated on us and who lied on us etc. Why is there a need to torment ourselves over and over by replaying these negative events in our minds? We must answer that question, because there is an underling reason why we tend to dwell on the adverse situations of our past. Could it be that the matter had never been put to death? Could it be that the particular event or situation in our life was never solved, forgiven, or put to rest? Someone might say that I don't understand how badly they've been hurt. That there is no way they can possibly forgive. Some might even agree with a friend of mine who says, " I am offended forever". It's true that putting a matter to rest is easier said than done, however, we must remember that no matter how deep the wound is, God can heal and mend our hearts if we let Him.
